Maximum 500 words in electronic format - Deadline for entry is April 10/08 OVERVIEW: A person with a minimum of 25 years of service in law enforcement who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and mentoring skills and who has contributed significantly to the advancement and promotion of women in law enforcement. Open to civilian and sworn staff.

Presidential Award
Maximum 500 words in electronic format - Deadline for entry is April 10/08 OVERVIEW: The candidate has demonstrated a commitment to initiatives involving women in law enforcement and is not eligible for any other OWLE awards. Both men and women are eligible for this award.
