Sgt. Amy Ramsay, OPP Orillia

Central Michigan University celebrated its 30th anniversary in Canada this past week. To mark the occasion, a review of student records was conducted to determine the most outstanding academic achievement. The honour went to Dr. Amy Ramsay, a sergeant with the Ontario Provincial Police in Orillia, Ontario.

Sgt. Ramsay, who holds five degrees, graduated from CMU in 1999 with a Master s Degree in Education. She went on to complete two doctoral degrees, finishing her latest one this past March. Dr. Terry Rawls, a CMU Vice President, presented the award to Dr. Ramsay in Toronto on October 23,

Amy Ramsay is a Policy Development Officer in the Operational Research & Development Bureau at OPP Headquarters in Orillia.
