Professional development opportunity

OWLE Members,

We have an exciting professional development opportunity to announce. We are continuing our partnership with the Canadian Institute. The 11th Annual Law of Policing Conference addresses the most pressing issues facing police services, police associations, police boards, peace officers, special constables and their counsel. Hear critical legal and legislative updates to ensure your team has knowledge and training to protect themselves and the public.

We are writing to let you know that we have decided to offer the Canadian Institute’s 4th Annual Indigenous Policing Forum and 11th Annual Law of Policing Conference in a virtual format using the GoToWebinar platform on June 8-10, 2020.

The events were originally scheduled to run on May 4-6. We have made this decision out of an abundance of caution given COVID-19 concerns. The safety and security of our attendees remains CI’s top priority.
